Jan is not having a good day. His landlord’s complaining that he’s playing his hip hop too loud (he isn’t, it’s electro) and a young Rafe Spall is giving him hassle at work…oh, and there’s a zombie apocalypse.
Jan and his fearful allies, Broken Chair will attempt to save the world from the zombie hoards, armed with only a cricket bat, a rolled up improv show script and vinyl copy of Queen’s 1978 album ‘Jazz’. Mindless, shuffling creatures obsessed with the pursuit of sustenance they may be, but right now Broken Chair are the world’s best hope.
Yes, this week we pay tribute to probably one of the greatest British romantic zombie comedy movies released in 2004, Shaun Of The Dead, and just in time for Halloween.
Whether you’re out trick or treating, staying in and watching a spooooooky movie or going out to a sophisticated party dressed as a Squid Game or Brexit, stay safe and look after each other.
We’ll probably just go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint and wait for all this to blow over.
Happy Chairsday… You’ve got red on you.
